“Truth” Vs The Truth is an Applied Digital Studies project by Jasmine Alanis.
This project is the brainchild from the fascination Jasmine has with multi-level marketing, a.k.a. pyramid schemes. As a Marketing Major at the University of Mary Washington, with a minor in Digital Studies, Jasmine felt this was the perfect opportunity to demonstrate her skills and knowledge in both subjects.
“Truth” Vs The Truth is intended to bring transparency to MLM advertisements, social media posts, pictures, etc., show how the MLM business model works, what type of individuals they target, and focus on a few of the most popular brands.
